Inviting emerging, unpublished & published poets, plus writers of flash fiction (short-short stories 100 to 1,000 words) to share their work.

The program will open with two featured writers: 

Alison D. Moncrief Bromage of Stony Creek, whose debut poetry collection Daughter, Daedalus was the 2016 winner of the T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry, Truman State University.

Paul Beckman of Madison, whose most recent flash fiction collection, Kiss Kiss was a finalist for the 2019 Indie Short Story Award competition.

The open mic is co-hosted by Stony Creek resident Amy J. Barry, a writer who leads expressive art & writing workshops on the shoreline.
