Selected Scenes: some pre-COVID observations
Exhibit April 1- April 25, 2022
My first exposure to life drawing was as an 18-year-old student with the great John Bowman in Sacramento, CA. I later veered into painting in a non-objective, abstract manner for many decades, but came back to the human form as a result of joining a wonderful life drawing group in Branford 10 or 15 years back.
Most of the paintings in this show are the result of observations of people living their lives during the few years before the onset of the COVID pandemic.
